Melbourne Puppet Kerfuffle came out to Mary Queen of Heaven Primary School in Greenvale and performed their Resilience show to the Year 2’s. After our unit learning about emotional literacy including building and drawing from a bank of strategies to regulate, the show was the perfect way to celebrate our learning. Our students were quickly intrigued and full of wonder watching the puppets and were soon laughing, participating and consolidating learning at the same time! Thank you to Rob and Chris for designing such a great show with movement breaks, humour, curriculum links, resources and of course the wonderful puppets. Our students will be raving about this for a long time!
We had the “We Love Animals” puppet show at our kinder, and it was absolutely brilliant! The performance was so professional, engaging and full of passion. Melbourne Puppet Kerfuffle visited my school today and performed a wonderful show! The production's content was excellent and well-targeted to the student's needs. The performers were warm and caring and clearly understood working with children in a kind and supportive way. Outstanding puppet skills demonstrated with a lot of knowledge about puppets shared.

I engaged Melbourne Puppet Kerfuffle to perform some shows during the school holidays at two of our shopping centres and it was fantastic!Rob and Chris were so easy to deal with and they put on a great set of shows that both kids and adults like loved! My team and I will definitely have them back again for more shows in the future! Thanks guys
We were so thrilled with the performance from Melbourne Puppet Kerfuffle for our Year Prep - 2 students. Chris and Rob were so helpful in ensuring that their show met our requirements for our Integrated Inquiry Unit focused on innovation through puppetry. The show was engaging for all the children and then Chris and Rob also took lots of time to thoroughly answer all the students’ questions afterwards. The students were fascinated to know how puppets are made and it really inspired them to want to create their own puppets and write their own shows. I recently booked Puppet Kerfuffle to come out and perform "The Resilience Show" on our book day at Glenferrie Primary School. It was an absolute hit. Melbourne Puppet Kerfuffle had our cohort of grade threes laughing and participating in the show with glee. It was so wonderful to see the children engaged with the colourful puppets and giggling as they learned valuable strategies to help them be the ‘boss’ of their feelings. All teachers in attendance agreed the content of the puppet show was extremely relevant to children right now. We will definitely welcome Melbourne Puppet Kerfuffle back to help us bring joy to personal and social development studies as they learn more about resilience. The puppet show was an excellent way to teach young children about resilience. The story allowed students to see that everyone feels overwhelmed at times and there are ways to help overcome this. The characters were bright, colourful and relatable.'
