We are located in Melbourne, Victoria. Melbourne Puppet Kerfuffle has travelled across Victoria and interstate.


Travel and additional costs apply to shows outside of Metropolitan Melbourne.



Important Information



  • We have a current Working with Children Checks (WCC).
  • We have public liability insurance through ‘Duck for Cover’ Entertainers Group
  • We are a registered business (ABN number- 96 744 750 253)
  • We are members of UNIMA Australia (Australian Puppetry branch of UNIMA International) a global non-governmental organization in partnership with UNESCO, dedicated to the art of puppetry.
  • We have child safety training.
  • We provide a risk assessment on our show to complement your incursion planning. We endeavour to provide safe, empowering, supportive, and respectful content for children.
  • Our Primary School shows that are based on the current Australian school curriculum.
  • Our Preschool Shows address the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
  • Our puppeteer team arrives 1 hour prior to show start for set-up.
  • We consider your school/organisation's needs and value your feedback.​​


What we require



  • Melbourne Puppet Kerfuffle asks for a flat surface, indoors preferred. Indoors allow us to perform in any weather and without wind.
  • We also ask for access to power (MPK will bring extension leads).
  • Our presenters will need a minimum of 1.5-2 metres behind the puppet stage to allow for the set up of puppets, sound and props.
  • Children are not permitted behind the stage for safety reasons.
  • Please ensure that you have your own staff present during the show. We can't supervise your students (especially when we're puppeteering).

Pricing



All pricing is subject to a quotation, with final costs confirmed in writing prior to booking, so you’ll know exactly what to expect. We aim to keep our rates fair, competitive, and in line with similar incursions and entertainment shows in Melbourne, Victoria.
